Apollo RFN Racing Team by ART is pleased to announce that Chinese driver Li Zebing will make his single-seater racing debut with the team at the opening round of the 2025 F4 Chinese Championship, taking place at Ningbo International Speedpark from 18 to 20 April.
At 32 years old, Li embarks on a new chapter in his motorsport journey as he transitions from a strong national-level karting background to the world of Formula 4. He joins the Apollo RFN Racing Team by ART for what is currently a one-off entry in the championship’s season opener.
The F4 Chinese Championship is contested using the latest-generation Mygale M21-F4 chassis and features a demanding format across five events in mainland China. Each race weekend consists of two qualifying sessions and four races, offering an intense and highly competitive environment for emerging and developing drivers in the region.
Li’s debut at Ningbo will be his first time racing in a formula car, and he will face the technical 4.01 km Ningbo International Speedpark — a circuit known for its complex mix of high-speed corners and tight braking zones. It serves as a fitting proving ground for the single-seater newcomer.
Speaking ahead of the event, Li Zebing said: “I’m extremely excited and truly cherish this opportunity to compete in F4 at Ningbo. I want to thank my family and friends for their unwavering support. My goal is to give everything I have – start strong, aim for victory, and realise a lifelong dream.”
Jack Pang, Team Principal at Apollo RFN Racing Team, commented:“We’re pleased to welcome Li to Apollo RFN Racing Team squad for the Ningbo round. His approach has been professional and passionate from the outset. While this will be his first experience in a formula car, his karting foundation and dedication in preparation give us confidence that he will adapt quickly and perform well.”
The 2025 F4 Chinese Championship kicks off at Ningbo, with further participation by Li Zebing to be evaluated following the opening round.
