The Chinese Taipei youngster becomes the first confirmed F4 South East Asia driver
The 15-year-old Enzo Yeh will be participating in the 2023 F4 South East Asia championship with the Asia Racing Team squad.
After winning eight championships in karting, the Chinese Taipei driver has undergone a testing programme in Chinese circuits using the Tatuus F4 T421 GEN2 car, managed by both the Asia Racing Team and BlackJack Racing.
This preparation aimed to ready him for his inaugural season in single-seater racing and to take part in the 2023 Ferrari Driver Academy (FDA) – Asia Pacific and Oceania Selection Program.
Speaking about the season ahead, Asia Racing Team and BlackJack Racing Team Principal Jack Pang said, “We are really happy to be able to confirm that Enzo will join the team for the 2023 F4 SEA season. He demonstrated professionalism and ample driving skills in his testing program with us this year. We will help him to the best of our ability to transition from karting to formula cars.”
Enzo Yeh added, “Firstly, I am thrilled to become a part of the Blackjack Racing and Asia Racing Team family. I’m eagerly anticipating my first F4 SEA season and I’m extremely excited about it. I’ve already gained a lot of test mileage with the team this year, and I’m looking forward to competing on the racing circuits. The road ahead is long, so let’s continue moving forward together!”
Enzo Yeh’s Asia Racing Team teammates are due to be confirmed soon in a further announcement.
